Battle of Brunanburh

In 937, the Battle of Brunanburh saw King Constantine II of Scotland ally with Olaf Guthfrithson, the Viking King of Dublin, and Owain, the King of Strathclyde, in an ambitious bid to counter the expanding influence of Æthelstan, the King of England.
