Wolf of Badenoch feuds

In 1391, Alexander Stewart, the Earl of Buchan and notoriously known as the "Wolf of Badenoch", unleashed his fury on the lands of Moray, Scotland, due to a personal feud with the Bishop of Moray over a legal dispute. Infuriated by the Bishop's actions against him, Stewart led a series of devastating raids, culminating in the burning of Elgin Cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture. This act of vengeance against the church solidified his infamy and left a lasting mark on Scottish history, with the ruins of the cathedral still bearing witness to his wrath today.
