Malcolm I

Malcolm I, known as Máel Coluim mac Domnaill, reigned as King of Scotland from around 943 to 954 CE, succeeding Constantine II. His rule was characterized by territorial expansions, as he made significant inroads into Northumbrian territory, exemplifying the shifting power dynamics of the time. While his reign faced challenges from Viking incursions and rival kingdoms, Malcolm I played a crucial role in consolidating the Kingdom of Alba's influence in the region.
