Edward VII

Edward VII served as King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India from 1901 to 1910, succeeding his mother, Queen Victoria. His relatively short reign, known as the Edwardian era, was marked by significant shifts in politics, society, and the arts. While he had been seen as a playboy prince, Edward's diplomatic efforts, particularly in fostering better relations with France, earned him the title "Peacemaker". Domestically, he was involved in the reformation of the British Army and Navy.
